My wife and I like to kayak in the NC lakes and coastal area. We've used the cart to walk as far as a half-mile, and it performs great. Once I had a product quality question but the staff at Paddlecart responded quickly and preferred to handle my problem with a free replacement. No questions, no hassles. We recommend the product and direct purchase from them. I first found out about their product at a NC state park that allowed us to borrow theirs to make a long hike to the marsh a lot easier. Great product! Well worth the money.

We recently purchased your bike cart, and we absolutely love it. I was threatening to build something myself (which I really can't do) and then I finally found your website. This is the perfect equipment for the town I live in. I live in a new old fashioned community that is built around a series of lake and canals. We took the canoe to the lake this weekend, and the only delay in getting there was that we had to stop because people were actually running out into the street to check out the rig and find out where we got it. Thanks for the great design. It's exactly what I was looking for, and not only is it the only canoe cart I've seen that will actually stay with my canoe, but the bike connection is the ultimate!

The package was on my door step when I got home last night. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, I tried it out on my canoe and it worked great. Thanks for the fast service.

I just wanted to follow up and thank you again for producing what I consider to be the finest portage cart in existence. This past month (March 2006) I competed in -- and won -- a 1,200-mile small boat race around Florida. It included a 40-mile portage along a country highway from the St. Marys River to the Suwannee River and a more conventional portage around Big Shoals on the Suwannee. In both cases your cart made the portages considerably easier than they otherwise would have been. The cart broke down into small enough pieces to fit without difficulty into my fully loaded kayak. Assembly was fast and the cart was more than rugged enough for the job. It barely looks used. In addition to 40 miles on a paved highway with me walking and towing the boat behind me, I dragged it over exposed roots, down steep banks, through mud, and across soft sand. In addition, I hauled it 1,200 miles inside my boat. In my book anything important enough to justify its weight on such a long trip is a piece of essential equipment. I own five kayak carts (including two that I made myself), but yours is the one I will use when the trip is remote and unforgiving. What a great, great piece of gear.
Thank you so much,
Warren R.

I very recently got one of the Tagalong Bike trailers and had talked to you about it a week or so ago. I received the 8' piece and extra pins yesterday and want to thank you very much for sending them. I will try out the longer piece this weekend. My first outing with my new toy was very successful. I ended up attaching the cart to the bike as you designed it. Changing my basket setup turned out to be the best way to do it for a good solid attachment. I'm very impressed with how well and effortless the trailer works. It corners well, comes on and off the bike very easily and works beautifully as a hand pulled cart also.
Everyone who has seen the cart is impressed also. Thanks again for your help.
Take care - Judy

Just got back in last night from the Tetons. Great trip and some fun storms to play in.
The cart performed admirably. Attracted quite a bit of attention during the portage between String & Leigh lakes with other paddlers. Fortunately, your web site URL is easy to remember so hopefully you'll see some activity from this.
I ran the cart pretty hard under a variety of conditions just messing around with it using my plastic kayak lightly loaded. Uphills, downhills, through the scrub, through some pretty gnarly rock patches, etc. Only tipped over once and this was when I was double-timing the cart over rough ground and ran afoul of a pugnacious little shrub.
Your cart definitely outperformed any cart I've used previously. Cindy was especially pleased with it as she has real trouble hauling her boat any distance over uneven terrain. The cart is a dream for middle aged ladies lacking upper body strength and off road coordination.
I'll be putting up my review of your cart on Paddling.net this weekend and I'm going to post a link to the review on the Guillemot kayak building forum.
I'll send you the link once the review becomes active.
If you ever have need of a user reference or testimonial, I am certainly at your disposal. Your product is most impressive and delivers a lot of bang for the buck.
Thanks again for everything.

I just wanted to write and thank you for a great product! The quality and functionality of the paddle cart is more than I expected. Far superior to others on the market. It transports my 17' canoe full of gear with such ease! I love it.
Thanks.

I received the cart last week and cannot say enough good things about it! It's a quality piece of work and works great. I had occasion to use it this weekend. We had two canoes and had to haul them about a mile through the wood (hard path) to reach our destination. One canoe had an older cart and took two people hauling it to get there. The other canoe mounted on your cart was basically a one man (often one handed) operation. Outstanding! My buddy was so impressed he will be ordering one. You can probably expect an order from William B. as early as today. Again, great design and execution. Good luck with the new business.
Sincerely,
Rich K.
